These terms govern your use of linfa.com.au and your purchase of any products from us. By using the site or placing an order, you accept these terms in full. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

Who we are

"LINFA", "we", "us", and "our" mean the operator of linfa.com.au. "You" means the person accessing the site or placing an order.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter a contract.

Products

We sell loose-leaf tea and related products. We describe each product as accurately as we can, but:

  • Colours, shapes, and leaf sizes vary naturally between harvests
  • Aromas and flavour notes are guides, not guarantees
  • Tea contains caffeine and botanical ingredients that may cause allergic reactions in some people — check the ingredient list before consuming
  • Nothing we say about a tea is a medical claim; our teas are not a treatment for any condition

We may change, restock, or discontinue any product at any time without notice.

Orders and pricing

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

An order is only confirmed once you receive an order confirmation email from us. We may refuse or cancel any order for any lawful reason, including:

  • Suspected fraud or misuse
  • Pricing or stock errors on the site
  • Delivery address we do not ship to
  • Prior chargebacks or unresolved disputes

If we cancel a paid order, we will refund it in full to the original payment method.

Payment

Payment is processed by third-party providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal, and other providers offered at checkout). We do not see or store your full card number. You warrant that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide.

Shipping and delivery

Shipping terms are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the address you provide, or on your first collection attempt if a signature or pickup is required.

Returns and refunds

Our Return and Refund Policy applies to every order. Please read it before ordering.

Intellectual property

The LINFA name, logo, illustrations, photography, text, and site design are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or use them for any commercial purpose without our written permission.

The LINFA word mark is the subject of Australian trademark application 2687560.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the site
  • Copy, scrape, or systematically extract content from the site
  • Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity
  • Upload malicious code, spam, or content that infringes another person's rights

We may suspend or block access to the site at our discretion.

User content

If you submit a review, comment, photo, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display it in connection with the store. You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to submit it. We may remove any content at any time without notice.

Third-party links

The site may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those sites. Following a link is at your own risk.

Availability of the site

We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict the site or any part of it at any time without notice.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability to you for any claim connected with the site or an order is limited to the amount you paid for the order that gave rise to the claim
  • We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special loss, including loss of profits, business opportunity, or data
  • We are not liable for any loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, customs actions, weather, industrial action, or acts of government

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the Federal Court of Australia.
